Hands & Bayley have been trading for now for some three years and we hope that during this time all clients have found the service they have received to be of a more than satisfactory standard and feel we have developed a trusted and secure professional relationship. You will also be aware that over this time it has been a priority of the company to keep fees to a minimum in order to offer the best value service possible. Unfortunately because of the way the business has expanded we have moved to a situation where we are now required to enter into VAT registration.
After considering matters carefully and in consultation with Simply Lets Ltd. we believe now is the ideal time to take an overview as to the value we can offer our clients and in this regard have requested they assist us and incorporate the Hands & Bayley management portfolio into their practice and work to further enhance the level of service we were able to offer.
They have recently agreed to accept the majority of our portfolio and should you not already have heard from them, will be writing to you to confirm this change.
Many of you will be very familiar with Simply Lets, they have been active in the Redditch market for some 20 years and two years ago moved to new offices in the town centre. They have an excellent reputation as a professional and totally independent specialist letting practice and are fully licensed and qualified under ARLA (Association of Residential letting Agents www.arla.co.uk). I believe they are the best Agency practice in the county.
We are sure you will agree that this is good news for all our clients.
- Firstly, we will be supported by a larger well respected company with a central office in Church Green East and further offices in Worcester and Bromsgrove. All Management and New Lettings will be handled from their Redditch office. The staff there are trained and qualified and they are open 5 ½ days a week 9.00 – 5.30 Mon to Friday and 9.00 – 1.00 on Saturdays if you have any problems.
- Secondly, you will receive valuable enhancements to the service presently provided, such as gaining; a FREE rent guarantee on new lettings for up to 6 months, guaranteed client money protection, improved inventories, advertising through a wider choice of mediums, enhanced service etc.
- Thirdly, they are a very approachable and professional group, the team in the Redditch office, headed up by Yvette Holloway the Manager, are notably helpful, courteous and efficient and are always ready to offer assistance and guidance when needed.

After much consideration, it is clear that the best and most economic way forward for all Clients of Hands Bayley is to proceed with a merger into Simply Lets and incorporate into their services. .
